Perimeter Protection

Perimeter Protection postponed until 2023

To accommodate the wishes of exhibitors and also give all participants the opportunity to plan with confidence, NürnbergMesse has decided to postpone Perimeter Protection until 2023. The decision was taken in close consultation with exhibitors and partner entities Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik (Metal Fence Technology Association), Verband für Sicherheitstechnik (Association for Security Technology, VfS) and UAV DACH. Exhibitions and congresses have been held again at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg since September 2021, and exhibitors and visitors have responded extremely positively and with a sense of responsibility. These events are currently being held in accordance with the provisions of Bavaria’s Infection Protection Measures Ordinance (Infektionsschutzmassnahmenverordnung) and the new German Protection against Infection Act (Infektionsschutzgesetz). Exhibitions and congresses can continue to be held under this currently applicable general legal framework.

R&T Stuttgart

R+T 2022 has been postponed

Messe Stuttgart is postponing R+T, the world's leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun shading systems, which was scheduled to take place in February 2022. "R+T is the most international event in Stuttgart. The proportion of international visitors was 60 per cent. They travelled to Stuttgart from more than 140 countries. A risk evaluation in close cooperation with our exhibitors and partners revealed that a broad participation by international guests at R+T in February 2022 is no longer realistic on account of the travel restrictions that are now being increased again due to the pandemic

positive Aussichten für die R&T Alliance

Positive prospects for the R+T Alliance

The trade fair landscape is springing back to life again. After more than one year without any live events in Germany and Europe, the preparations for the trade fair restart at Messe Stuttgart are in full swing. This also applies to the trade fairs in the R+T Alliance, the trade fair network for the sun shading and door/gate industries. "We are delighted that we can finally stage trade fairs again," said Roland Bleinroth, President of Messe Stuttgart. "The last months proved that personal meetings are essential and irreplaceable. Trade fairs will therefore remain an important and permanent economic factor."

Trade fairs reinstated in time for FeuerTrutz 2021

The Bavarian state government has announced a further easing of Covid-19 restrictions, offering the trade fair industry a clear prospect of re-opening. Provided there is a sustained decline in infection rates, it will be possible for trade fair operations to resume by 1 September 2021 at the latest. This decision reaffirms the timetable for FeuerTrutz, which is set to take place from 18 to 19 October 2021 on-site in Nuremberg with extra digital content. Following this good news, exhibitor registrations have meanwhile increased to more than 130.
