The trade fair landscape is springing back to life again. After more than one year without any live events in Germany and Europe, the preparations for the trade fair restart at Messe Stuttgart are in full swing. This also applies to the trade fairs in the R+T Alliance, the trade fair network for the sun shading and door/gate industries. "We are delighted that we can finally stage trade fairs again," said Roland Bleinroth, President of Messe Stuttgart. "The last months proved that personal meetings are essential and irreplaceable. Trade fairs will therefore remain an important and permanent economic factor."

The Bavarian state government has announced a further easing of Covid-19 restrictions, offering the trade fair industry a clear prospect of re-opening. Provided there is a sustained decline in infection rates, it will be possible for trade fair operations to resume by 1 September 2021 at the latest. This decision reaffirms the timetable for FeuerTrutz, which is set to take place from 18 to 19 October 2021 on-site in Nuremberg with extra digital content. Following this good news, exhibitor registrations have meanwhile increased to more than 130.

It helps to attract the interest of experts in exemplary innovations from the industry that were launched on the market for the first time in 2019 or have been developed up to market maturity.
R+T digital kicked off on 22 February 2021 after just a few months preparation time for everyone involved.
